Nice beach for a run out along the coast, array of bars, cafes, shops and pubs. Not forgetting a visit to the famous Tommy. Noses Point is always a nice choice too and lots of free parking.

Great walk along the beach or the promenade . Has been ‘done up’ to great standard . Free parking . Lots of lovely little cafes and fabulous beach and sea . Hard to believe there was ever a coal mine there

Sean has certainly changed for the better. Gone quite upmarket. Good bars and cafes. The sun was shining which helped. The statue of the lone soldier stands out. Looks very clean. Bracing sea breeze. Good place to visit

Tommy the old statue sits in the square, the shopping centre is good and there are plenty of sea front cafes and ice cream parlours. One thing I love to do is sit on the pebble beach and pick up the coloured sea glass

Good little beach, very clean and safe. Seaham is an up and coming resort. Its main feature is the world war 1 Tommy statue which is magnificent

Had no idea that beach was well known for collectors of glass fragments. Meet people who had travelled some distance to search among pebbles. Most intriguing. Excellent coffee shop Black Truffle with adjoining boutique on sea front.

The beach is great and offers a good walk. Take the family here quite often at least once a week. Go for the fish and chips and walk the beach.

You can have dog on the beach. Literally hundreds had dogs. It was too far in car to take ours though :-(
