Beautiful beach and fabulous views really took the breath away when we visited. We had a super stroll along the beach whilst the tide was out. Dog lovers paradise.

I remember coming here a lot over the years, the topography has changed a lot, sand dunes smaller, a lot more grass and bracken. Now National Trust operated so free parking in the small car park for members, two disabled spaces. Made up paths to...More

Just a peaceful place to walk on any kind of day. Unspoiled beech and sand dunes which are big! Wide open views of the lake district mountains. The sound of sea birds and the tide and lots of fresh air. A great place to visit.

Such a lovely bit of coastline and truly an example of 'big skies'. The walks along the coast are beautiful and peaceful and it is great fun for all to explore the sanddunes. There is a small carpark (free to National Trust members) and a...More

Hi Daniel. Yes dogs are allowed at Sandscale Haws in September. Preferably they should be on leads but as long us they're under close control that should be fine too
