We decided to do the 45 minute blue cruise, just long enough with trip round the islands in the centre of the lake, good views, lots of interesting facts explained about the islands and properties. Well worth a trip.

It was a bit chilly and damp, but the water was calm, staff friendly, facilities for tea and coffee on the boat. The services are frequent so you can fit it in with walks, lunches or just a round trip.
