You really must visit this, bring a packed lunch or use one of the many eatery’s around, i marvelled at this for around 30 seconds could have been less, well the time it took to walk past infact. Highly recommended if visiting Dorset.

This is a large statue of the mad king george 3rd. It is in middle of the road on an island. It is beautiful to see and have a sea bath as well. It is the centre point for weymouth.

Colourful and well maintained statue of Weymouth's most renowned visitor. Also serves as the bus terminus.

Unfamiliar with the area, the statue is a great landmark for the bus terminals and busier areas of the town. I drove around the statue twice hunting for the free parking. It is an eye catching well preserved statue.

This well maintained statue has certainly split fellow reviewers! To me, it provides a useful landmark to everyone, whilst also acting as a trigger to those with any interest in local history to research the historical connection of George III to the town.

Improves the view while you wait for your bus. Otherwise....eee, hmm, ahhh, OK thats it. Now I have to write some drivel to make this long enough.

There is nothing to say, it is a local monument on the promenade and also a turning point for cars and buses.
