You can visit the best museums in the world for free so for a pound you would expect it to be pretty good. It is dreadful. They try to sell you scabby secondhand books in the lobby. The museum bit consists of one room with...More

A lovely selection of different eras in Weymouth, including things for children. There is also a large selection of second hand books for sale. Children are free and the admittance price is only £1 or 2 euros.

Didn't go this year, but previously was amazed at all the history of the place. Not sure if it was still open as I heard different rumours. If it is open, then it's worth it. You could spend hours in this place

Not easy to distinguish the museum from the Antiques/Collectibles Emporium. It is marked up fairly well, but the two seem to merge if you take a wrong turning. It was interesting to see the historical photographs and some of the undoubtedly priceless artefacts.

The museum is small but exhibits are well presented with plenty of explanations. The entrance fee was only £1, so very good value.
