This was my Partner and I first visit to Dorset. What a beautiful county! It was made memorable by Gary's brilliant commentary; both informative & amusing! The scenery is breathtaking, some of which you wouldn't see by your own steam. We thought it was particularly interesting by Gary's personal anecdotes regarding his own family. We agree, Carol's cake was lovely,... More

Learned about Jurassic Safari while researching things to do in the Weymouth area. Contacted Gary and Carol and was fortunate that they had two spots left for the day and time frame that worked for us. They were very forthcoming about the seats I'd have in the back of the Range Rover....tall people might not fit well. We booked it... More

A beautiful spring day, perfect for such a wonderful experience. Gary and Carol Fry met us in Wareham and first stop was the hill overlooking Corfe Castle. Not only were we told the history of the castle but also had nature studies of Heath land, bee orchids, and saw many deer. From here we drove across farmland through Kingston and... More

I wanted to see Dorset but since I'm new to the area this safari was perfect. Gary is very knowledgeable since he's lived in this area all his life. My young teens and I almost had a lovely history lesson with all the visuals to go with it. We were able to go to roads and views that are not... More

If you want to know about the history of Portland then this is the trip for you. We spent a lovely afternoon with Gary, who was extremely knowledgable and told us some interesting tales of days gone by in Portland. Hot chocolate and a Victoria sandwich made by Carol added that special touch. Highly recommended and look forward to our... More

A little delayed in writing this review as we went on this safari at the end of October. Me and my husband and our son were only staying in Weymouth for a few days and so limited time available to do the things we wanted to do. I rang Jurassic Safari to see if they were able to accommodate us... More

What a great way to learn more about the local area. Gary & Carol have clearly spent a great deal of time researching facts to add to this unique experience. Our 4-hour tour of the Purbecks took us onto private land and fields overlooking the beautiful town of Corfe with its unique heritage and steam railway. Gary's wealth of knowledge... More

With limited time to show my family this spectacular county's coastline, countryside & villages we called the experts, Jurassic Safaris. We chose the full day safari with the pub lunch at The Scott Arms in Kingston, overlooking the magnificent Purbeck hills & valley down to Corfe Castle ruins. It was warm enough to sit out in the beer garden with... More

Cannot rate this trip high enough, absolutely fantastic although I've lived in Poole all my life and thought I knew the perbecks well Gary soon put a stop to that! Apart from being a font of knowledge he has a great passion for the area and his tour will certainly be back for other tours. Thank you team Jurassic Safari
