This "attraction" is grossly overpriced. The gardens compare very poorly to those in public parks. There were a few water lillies in bloom but the whole place was poorly maintained.

I loved the ponds and surroundings. Loads of different lilies which are probably almost at their best (maybe another week or two). We saw various types of dragonflies, butterflies, a watersnake, ducks and moorhens with young. Lots of different paths to take (mostly grass and...More

Coach trip via UYE - absolutely stunning water garden. So pleased we were able to visit this place. Lillies - never seen so many and the wonderful and vibrant colours, were a delight. Definitely worth a couple of hours. The staff in the cafe were...More

This is an attraction that needs lovely sunny weather. It brings out all the water lily flowers at this time of the year. It is so peaceful, with plenty of seat to just enjoy the beauty. The paths round the lakes are quite easy to...More

Lovely and tranquil with beautiful water lilies. We saw unusual ducks with ducklings. There are several ponds of varying sizes all different. A delightful wedding venue.

We walked from our campsite at the start of Portland. The gardens will be different on any visit due to the flowers. The layout and setting was worth the walk. There is a small shop and cafe on site. Worth the entry fee

Our satnav took us initially to a trading estate, seems a dual carriage way has now been built right across the road that would of been of the same postcode, so we had to do a u-turn to find the other road. Eventually we found...More

Thank you for your review, we are really pleased you enjoyed your time here. Sorry to hear you had difficulty finding us using satnav, the new road to access the gardens is about 10 years old but unfortunately some satnav's have still not updated this...More

After paying £9.50 each to get in we were totally disappointed with this attraction. Ponds full of lilies. Nothing else to see besides a couple of wooden bridges. Once you've seen one lake full of lilies you have too endure about 5 more lakes. Waste...More
