Initially, Diane & I thought this was the Minster. It's a nice place to visit with lots to see and Diane & I were impressed by the local people on hand who proved knowledgeable and helpful.

Very helpful and amusing guide. Interesting church with amazing history. This was the pre runner to the minster so a visit to both is advisable

We again enjoyed wandering around this very old and historic church, we found the rabbit that was supposed to be the inspiration for the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. The church has a nice feel to it.

Visited on Thurday 8th February 2018. This is one of the finest churches I have seen, in spite of the repair work going on at the time of visit. Best feature is the blue ceiling in the Nave. Apparently the church was developed through 400...More

A wonderful church, that people should see in addition to the more famous Beverely Minster at the other end of the town. Of particular note are the 28 15th century misericords - carvings under the seats of the choir stalls, featuring a variety of charming...More

Look at it it beautiful and interesting, so are inside. Also staff are friendly and welcoming. Also a shop and cafe. Only if I had a selfie with the church, great building and welcoming staff.

A beautiful and very welcoming church is a lovely market town. Fully worthy of its ranking as one of the finest 100 parish churches in England by Simon Jenkins. Painted ceilings, royal representations, white rabbit carving, mousey Thompson memorial door, mediaeval miserichords, minstrel carving and...More
