Oh what a wonderful surprise, over 80 beautifully decorated Xmas trees adorned the whole minster, each one themed by local businesses and school etc, some made me fel very emotional too. i have been before but only for a quick look then.i'm ever so glad...More

You have to be impressed by the fact that such a beautiful building was constructed nearly 800 years ago. I challenge anyone to stand and look up and not be impressed by the construction. Look at the pillars for signs of old graffiti. I spotted...More

Beverley Minster is well worth a visit. Welcome from a volunteer, free entry, an amazing Remembrance sand sculpture and all in the midst of such a beautiful building.

Dominates the area the minster is a huge church far too big for the town, but, what a visit. Inside we were met by a wonderful "Welcommer" who gave a potted history St John, the shrine, how the marshy area (beavers lay) was turned in2...More

This is a massive and impressive Church. Lovely to stroll around both inside and outside to admire the architecture and workmanship ...and to, of course, see the Alice in Wonderland rabbit! This building is really peaceful and well worth a detour to see.

A beutiful minster a must if you are visiting Beverly. I always visit and light a candle. Full of WW1 history and a private chapel for this who want to take time to reflect.

I think so. On Sunday there was an RSPCA service and we saw dogs arriving for that Suggest you call just to be sure Chris

It's actually free to go in but there are Donation boxes which help for the upkeep & well worth giving to!
