Rob Roy's Grave... what should I tell - anyway, the place and the nature is worth seeing and you can have a walk to the Loch Voil

Tucked behind an antique shop, this small museum is not much but it is only £1. An old film tells of Rob Roy.

We visited this place whilst staying at Clachan Cottage Hotel. It's an amazing place, the story behind it is all set out and makes great reading. Well worth a visit - quite awe inspiring.

The car park was partly flooded, the river was in flood and both sides the low lying grassland and paths were under water, making it difficult in some areas. Fortunately the high street was at high level but shops still did have sandbags near-by. Some of the signs were surrounded by water so impossible to read them.

As a proud Scotsman it is an... More

Firstly, just to say that we didn't actually visit this attraction as we couldn't find it. Staying just outside Callander, we walked into town. We saw the Rob Roy Story advertised, and a signpost which we followed. The next sign had been half covered up, and a makeshift arrow stuck to it. We failed to find this at all. To... More
