Visited Bert's place many times and can honestly say that the food there is amazing! Steaks are done to perfection and the specials board made my mouth water!! Nice little bar area, and the only reason i put 4/5 is due to it being cramped....More

We were drawn to this pub during our Sunday afternoon visit as there was a band playing in the afternoon. Prices ok and band sounded good. Nice little outside area.

Went here to meet group of friends band playing were good ..not busy in there but ok ...drinks were awful could put my finger on it at first . But my friend a I were drink southern comforts we notice that bottle was nearly finished...More

Brilliant atmosphere, lovely beer and a great band. AC/DC Rockology are superb. Thanks for a fab night (shame we missed the train) : )

This is truly a real British traditional pub which actually has its own brewery where it brews its one beers which are really exceptional for all real ale enthusiasts excellent hosts friendly pub used by all locals and very close to railway station for weary...More

Popped in here twice on the way down. And on the way back from paignton and must say their real ales are of sound quality. Will be popping in whenever in Newton abbot again

I Popped Into This Pub Again While Waiting For My Train Back To Torquay After Getting Off The Train From Totnes There We're Quite A Few People In Drinking Watching The Rugby On Tele Etc Also With Their Dogs

I was waiting for a train with my mom and her friends that was due half an hour later. We ended up getting a train two hours later after being drawn in by the music and fun atmosphere. Good pub!! Good beer!!
