This long established farm animal petting attraction, here at prickly ball farm we rescue, rehabilitate, and release our native hedgehog back to the wild once they are fit and well, All the good work that we do here is all self funded, so your entrance fee is directly supporting our hedgehog care. We have a cafe serving fresh barista coffee, many teas also serving breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas and an amazing selection of cake!!!!!! The cafe can be used without paying an entrance.

Lovely place to visit, during different times of year the children can help bottle feed lambs, hold guinea pigs, see the rescued hedgehogs, play in the sand, take a tractor ride etc etc.

Lovely visit was surprised by how much there was to do as I don’t think the website promotes itself enough. We spent 3.5hrs there and given the chance my son would have happily spent another hour cuddling the goats!

Our toddler loved this place. Not overly big but a full day programme gives you plenty to do and close interaction with the animals. Also plenty of play area's, sand pits and slides for them to enjoy. We had a cake and cuppa in the...More

My daughter loved it. Small but did all the activities and stayed most of the day. The sun was out which was a bonus.

I'd say that a 10 year old would possibly get a little bored as it does mainly cater for younger children but if they like animals then should be okay.
