What a beautiful place to visit and such a great story. Very friendly and helpful staff, encourage you to enjoy your visit. Don't miss "the beam", it is lit up but not clearly indicated. Free to enter, but they do ask for donations.

This is a wonderful church, fantastic stonework and an interesting interior. The guides are very helpful and supply you with a leaflet which explains the history of the building.

This is a must visit attraction when you're in Christchurch or the surrounding area. The church was originally part of the monastery that was built in 1086, although there was a place of worship on the site since the 7th century. It is steeped in...More

I visited here for the first time today for rememberance parade and service. It is a beautiful building with a magnificent sounding organ and beautiful windows. The artwork is stunning but, most importantly, the atmosphere is peaceful. The service was perfect for the occasion. Very...More
