This little ferry is well used by locals and runs every few minutes. If you’re in Fowey just walk onto the ferry which only cost £2 as a foot passenger, and cross over to Bodinnick. There’s not a lot there apart from the house where...More

We travelled on the ferry with a car and also by foot. It is so quick and easy. It is a connection for locals as well as tourists judged by the goods that we saw carried across: flowers, cleaning products for boats. I see some...More

Very short trip £2 each way per person. Unfruendly older staff and rude to a foreign tourist unecessarily..they should be reminded they rely on tourism!

£7 per car for a one way trip is extortionate. Only takes 15 minutes more by road. Beautiful on the other side though. Worth driving round.

Nice easy link to get across to Polperro and Looe and provide a great view of the river mouth, pity it doesn't run a little later

Lovely clear waters and views, you can get out to have a look while you cross. Only takes a couple of minutes, although I found £5 a little bit steep as it’s only one way.

If you’re at Fowey, or Bodinnick, and you want to be on the other side of the river, the Bodinnick Car Ferry is probably the fastest option. Good to know, then, that it’s operated by friendly experts who guide the process of getting on and...More

Just a few minutes to cross and it does save some time driving which on Cornwall's roads is always a good thing. £5 per car so not so bad. Very efficient service.

The ferry only takes around 2 minutes to make the crossing, it will then load up again and make the return journey, so usually there is usually no more than a ten minute wait at either side. At mid-day you will have no... More
