Forget the likes of cheap cafes and amusement arcades! The promenade here offers fantastic views of the bay, the sea, plants and birds with the hills behind. A lovely walk on a dry day.

Delightful for a stroll, lovely views across to Arnside and the Knott. Well kept with nice planting giving interest at almost all times of the year. With cafes, children's playground and the duck pond at the end by the station what more could you want?...More

the promenade in Grange always provides some lovely views across the Bays and the flower beds are absolutely amazing when in their prime. I love the fact that you can also find some of the pebble are dotted across the Prom.

I do indeed like to be beside the seaside and Grange-over-Sands is a surprisingly pleasant place. I spotted the promenade on the way out to Ulverston, and decided to get off on my way back. I took a nice leisurely evening stroll up the promenade...More

What a place of a early morning walk. The views are fantastic. You can see black Blackpool Tower over 30 miles away. And the hills in the Yorkshire Dales. And after a walk there are plenty of tea rooms for a cuppa. Great.

running the length of Grange-over-Sands between the railway and the salt-marshes is the early 20th century promenade. It's great views over Morcambe Bay and Arnside Knott to Lancashire's moorlands. The gardens along the promenade are a delight and there are several traditional tearooms.

Pleasant walk in relaxed atmosphere great ever changing views across the bay- pity the lido had gone to wrack and ruin and that it was raining!

Called in as we hadn't been for a couple of years to see if anything had changed. It hadn't. Still all run down which is such a shame as the area is so nice.

It took us only 5 minutes from the main car park at Grange Over Sands. I also recommend Choco-Lori Belgian Chocolate Shop & Cafe in Grange - It's a chocoholics Paradise !
