This is a great place for families with young children or elderly peeps. The path around the reservoir is wide and mostly flat with well spaced benches for sitting a while. Disabled parking is limited bit plenty of other parking on 3 levels. You need...More

There's nothing finer than to walk around the reservoir, or further if you feel like it; there are some lovely moorland walks from the reservoir, and then go to The Causeway Foot Pub for Sunday lunch. They recycle Christmas trees here and then use them...More

Went for a walk with my friend and my mother and simply loved the view. Windmills were the icing on the cake. Absolutely recommended place.

Lovely place to walk the dogs, lots of people about also. Not great for parking but if you go early enough (on weekends) then you manage to get parked.

Great place, loads of variable walks for people and dogs, fantastic for exploring - not surprised the car parks are full. I'm sure they must need a larger cafe' and shop too. Very accessible, beautiful place.

Nothing better than an autumnal walk around here to blow the cobwebs out. A lovely walk, well maintained paths and a nice little shop.

Always visit cogent when in the area for walks, some strenuous! Try to fit in a stop at the little cafe too afterwards - makes a fairly complete day out for us and the dog.
