Wonderfully staffed by a knowledgeable and helpful volunteer crew, this museum has a wealth of maritime related information. Highlight include the Scottish herring girls, various hands on exhibits and some beautiful models of wherries and trawlers. Definitely a must-see!

So much to see in this museum. Tradition of Lowestoft's huge fishing industry in the early 40's 50's 60's. Also links with the Hovercraft designer Cristopher Cockrell.
