Having passed Buckland Rings for many years, my wife and I decided it was time to find a convenient place to park and explore the ancient site managed by Hampshire County Council. But we left feeling very disappointed and extremely confused about what this site...More

Ancient iron age hill fort, looks like a "hill", now with new bench! if you are a teen this is the ideal location for drinking cider or eating pizza. Try to imagine what those iron age celts would make of modern Lymington, would they love...More

This is an iron age fort with trees and an open area. On one side there remains the steep ramparts. There are no signposts or information boards. It's a lovely little walk and lots of dog owners do just this regularly. What to do here...More

This is a lovely if a little small walk around an old iron age fort, a good view from the top, sadly some of the fort was damaged by excavations in the past but the meadows are still very pretty.

Maybe it's us but we couldn't find anything of interest to see. I've no doubt something is here, but the signposting is poor so we left a bit bemused
