Wonderful place that is a credit to the area - please remember that the lifeboats are the 4th emergency service and not funded by the current Government - lovely staff and and very helpful in the shop aswell

Visited on Wednesday 6th September. This is a very interesting museum telling the story of the RNLI in Lytham St Annes. Well worth calling in to have a look at and best of all its free.

My Husband and myself always visit the Lifeboat Station when we visit St Annes. We love seeing the lifeboat up close, and reading the information on hand. The little gift shop is lovely and the staff are helpful and very informed. It's a nice place...More

Easy to understand and we'll presented storyboards charting history of event and the people who survived and what happened to families of those who died. The enormity of that tragedy comes across.

All lifeboat stations are special and need to be supported this is a fairly modern station with a tractor to assist the launch ,you can view the craft from inside the station which you access from the shop where you can buy something to help...More

this is a great little attraction right on Lytham green and its free which is a bonus although you can make a contribution if you like---plenty of information on the walls to keep you occupied.
