If you enjoy walking, cycling, watersports etc. Rutland Water offers the oportunity for them all. Great in summer for picnics, well maintained and family orientated. Certainly worth a visit.

Excellent for walking with lovely views. We parked at Sykes road and the playground there was so good, we had a job to get the children's off it. A bribe at the Foxey cafe worked. So small inside however, there is no room sit sit...More

A lovely stroll around this lake, plenty of stops off's for drinkies & eats the cheese and onion tostie's at the hut next to the church, are to die for with a fine brew . Next time we vist will take our cycles

Did a 10 mile walk from the Sykes lane part of the estate. Great visitor centre very helpful staff, lovely place to walk round very clearly signposted with drink stops on the way. Well maintained and easy to navigate.

Good paths with a changing scenery around each corner, and plenty of Cafes. Mind the bike riders. Probably good for sporty types, but certainly a good challenge for walkers. The church is very interesting. Made me want to google it.
