Visiting the wonderful gardens once shown in BBC’s Gardener World during Geoff Hamilton’s reign is a wonderful treat. The gardens have been well maintained by his family. Well worth a visit.

Not being dog owners we hadn't taken notice of the arrangements for dogs. It appears that they can't be taken into the garden, but there's a small shaded parking area close to the entrance where they can be left in cars.

I would say a couple of hours :-) Plus a visit to the tea room - afternoon tea is amazing.
