It looks like the place is having a makeover of some kind. I understand the lake is being drained, but on a glorious bank holiday the paddling pool was closed (looks to be that is too going to be done up at some point). The...More

It may have some great attractions and a good cafe, but the locked height barrier prevents me getting my wheelchair accessible vehicle, a sprinter van, into the car park! If you can't park, what's the point of having a "changing places" toilet here?More

Good that this place is hopefully getting a facelift. At the moment, it is the sort of wasteland that you wouldn't really want to walk around by yourself. I only did because I had my dog with me but it is basically a building site....More

What a miserable place this has become, (indeed in line with much of Worthing's past centres of attraction, not that there were that many). The lack of investment is patently obvious. Everything is just run down. This was my childrens favourite place, so much to do,...More

This could be a great venue for families, but over the years it has declined through neglect. Patched up in the winter with a few repair jobs and a coat of paint. Each year it gets worse. I live up the road from it and...More

Brooklands could do with a HUGE refurb, something like Rustington Golf Course, with an indoor play area, bowling alley, restaurant, something! It's a waste of space at the moment, and could actually be a good place to go. PLEASE abolish parking charges.

Took a walk round there the other day. The lake has been drained to remove algae and hopefully the work will turn it into a wildlife preserve and someone will invest in the pleasure grounds as they are in grave need of updating so it...More

This was my first visit to Brooklands and it was no pleasure! The lake has been drained by the Council to do site improvements so you are just looking at a sea of mud for the foreseeable future. However, the so called Halloween experience was...More

The park has been let gof by Adur Council. The lake is dirty and empty, and the graas covered in dogs mess. This certinly is not a place for children.

Had an afternoon there with 5year old grandson - lovely playground, impressed that it provides swings for children in wheelchairs. Paddling pool, indoor soft play & we had a walk around the lake & ride on the train - all good. Finished off with refreshments...More

Yes dogs are allowed but only on leads and not in any buildings. But there is some outside seating.
