I complained nicely and quietly that my pint didn't taste right. Could I please have another. Was told there was nothing wrong with the pint, the bar lady then asked a reluctant customer to try it out because she couldn't decide if it was off....More

This lovely little village pub is a real gem. Visited on a busy Friday evening. Very friendly and helpful staff, good ales, really relaxing ambience, good quality home cooked food in large portions at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Went with friends to this pub for a meal on the recommendation of a friend who used to live in the area. What a gem! The staff were very welcoming and efficient and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be booking again.

Booked for a Friday night and revived a friendly welcome. Had a assistance dog in training with us who lay under the table all evening so they were more than happy to let him be there! Menu was uncomplicated home cooked food and good choice....More
