Nice place for bird watching, but no facilities or cover whatsoever. Big car park though. The lack of facilities will probably keep all but avid bird watchers away, which makes it less likely birds will be scared away by noisy children or dogs. It's also...More

Had a very nice walk around Bowers Marsh. There are no facilities but still a great place for a walk.

Have paid many a visit to Bowers Marsh and had a good walk with mixture of birds and wildlife. My first siting of Cuckoos where here earlier this year

The approach road has now been relaid and makes your visit much more enjoyable This year has been a good year for nesting Avocets ,Redshanks and Lapwing on the reserve and has had great numbers of birds on and around the reserve .at the moment...More

I went to have a look at the site before taking my grandchildren for a visit but was disappointed to see there were still no toilet facilities - not even a portaloo.
