What a wonderful arts and crafts church. Outside beautiful, and serene. Makes you wonder what the inside looks like. Alas it was not to be. While I understand that the church is not there for the tourist, perhaps a modest charge to cover the costs...More

Even a lot of the local people of Buxton don't seem to know this church exists. It's very unusual and beautiful. The Buxton Tour Bus that goes from outside the Opera House stops off at this hidden gem and the guide will tell you it's...More

An Arts and Crafts church built during WWI is a rarity. If in Buxton and interested in architecture, try to get along, if only to view it from the exterior. It has a nice, cottagey feel to it, enhanced by the eyebrow dormers winking at...More

Great church, interesting architecture...but locked. That's no good to us! And the contact phone number was pointless...the office, too, was closed. Very frustrating to the weary traveller.
