Pavilion Arts Centre - a good theatre space

We watched an excellent concert given by Chris Wood. Chris was definitely on form; his stories were great fun and the music and sound were excellent.

Had a very nice stroll around the gardens. Very cold but well worth the effort as there is plenty to see even in December. Finished off with a cuppa in the pavilion.

Very pleasant walking through the gardens and looking in the greenhouse inside. Unfortunately the weather was not good but it was pretty enough for it not to matter.

Not relly much to do here unless you have small children - if you want a walk go to the country park - but perfectly Ok nonetheless.

Designed in Victorian times. Beautiful gardens, perfect for a stroll. Little bridges, ponds, statues, ducks, meandering paths. Lovely in winter, must return in the summer! Cafe at Pavilion which was closed at the time.

A wonderful park, full of twist and turns, little bridges, lakes and even a model railway. I'ts pretty flat so easy and accessible for all and beautifully kept, don't miss a wander through it, no matter what the weather is like when you are in Buxton.
