Visited in January & expected snow & we weren't disappointed . Still very beautiful to stroll around if your well wrapped up, would like a return visit to see the beauty in summer. Our dog enjoyed the space very much too.

The gardens are well kept, have fantastic play areas for the children. A miniature train I guess on warm days. The tearoom wasn't open but the ground had plenty of paved pathways suitable for all, pretty bridges of the multitude of waterfalls. A very peaceful place

The pavilion gardens are a real asset to Buxton. Lovely to have a stroll around them before strolling around the Buxton shops. The playground for children is great and it's right next to the town centre.

Good play area for kids, and a little cafe by the lake. Shame the main building toilets are no longer opened in the winter, but still available by the lake.

We stayed in a hotel opposite the gardens over New Year with our dogs and we couldn't be more grateful for the Pavilion Gardens! They are well lit, meaning we could walk our dogs at night, safely and during the day are simply an exquisite view!

Visited between Christmas and New year so was cold outside and frost on the ground, but still beautiful grounds to walk round. Imagine during the summer this would be very busy and a lovely place to picnic.

Lovely gardens and great place to sit and watch the world go by. Lots going on in the park and right next to the opera house.
