My kids used to love Buxton Museum and were excited to revisit after the recent refurbishment. What a disappointment. It's now a bland, soulless place with modern styling replacing quirky substance. The bear, the highlight of past visits, is now wasted in its new position....More

Having come back from Scotland, we decided to get in this place and we're not disappointed by it. Had a good time and would definitely recommend it. The limited staff available were nice and friendly with good local knowledge.
