Well worth a visit.

This is well worth a visit when down near the Hermitage. There are spectacular views across the waterfalls and plenty photo taking opportunities.

This has to be seen to be believed really. The Hall itself is a beautiful little building and has been well looked after and renovated by the National Trust, with artwork and Gaelic poetry (with translations) on the walls. The situation is spectacular, jutting out over the Falls of Braan. Once seen, never forgotten! This is a truly beautiful place.

Loved our trip to the Hermitage. Well worth the walk Views of the falls are amazing. Brilliant views! Dog friendly. Weather was lovely on the day. Can imagine with rain this could be muddy and slippery

It is not that far from the car park (15 minutes). We went early and it was quiet (10AM). As we were leaving the car park the tour buses arrived which spoiled the peace and quiet. Lovely view from the Hall. A nice walk for an hour and a half out your day.

A very impressive view, which shows the power the river has at all times of the year. Excellent whilst incorporating the Hermitage Walk.

Beautiful 4 mile round-trip hike to a dramatic waterfall and Ossian's Hall overlooking the falls. Located in the Hermitage. Wish we had time to do more hikes in this area.

Part of The Hermitage trail really, this is the centre-point - with a balcony overlooking the waterfalls.

You reach the folly which is 'Ossian's Hall' via the Hermitage Woodland Walk - which is beautiful, whatever the weather. If it is a little damp, the trees give you a fair amount of protection while you walk to the folly. The National Trust own the property and there is fee at the two car parks - the lower park... The access is good for disabled visitors who can drive right up within a few feet of the automatic entrance door by exiting the car park by the right rear hand corner roadway not otherwise signposted follow the rough road to the right every time. Spectacular falls from the viewing platform

Never fails to impress, this hall was built when it would have been a real feat of civil engineering, gets you right on top of the falls, you can only look down and marvel. Tip, get somone to walk a bit further on to take a photo of you in the hall.
