This area is great for shops with unusual things to buy. Little shops with creative art pictures, homemade chocolates, cake making and various other small shops selling items that you dont normally see on the high street.

This section of Folkestone improves the overall town. Nice narrow streets leading down to the harbour. Full of small independent shops. The actual town centre is bland and boring. These few streets give the town a traditional seaside feel. That is common in many other...More

Many cafes of all kinds and quirky shops but not for the ordinary man on the street all seem overpriced and cater for the young professional not for the Local People

Great place to explore with a good mixture of shops. Narrow cobbled streets add to the charm of the place.

We were in Folkestone the night the Christmas lights were switched on so the atmosphere was lovely. Live bands, music and very busy. The old cobbled streets and cafes quaint shops and restaurants. What a quaint part of town.
