I took my mum here as i had vistited a couple of years ago and thought it would be nice to return in such nice weather. We had a baby with us but when we arrived it was clear there was no where to sit outside to eat with adequate shade so we had to sit inside which was a... More

Such a stunning place! I visited Wrest Park as a mid-way stopping point on the Flitwick Circular walk, with entry being free as an English Heritage member. The house itself its merely a side attraction in a visit to Wrest Park - much of it is closed off to visitors anyway and even more so when there is a wedding,... More

We went to this event at Wrest Park & fell in love with this stunning place. It was our first visit although we are English Heritage members, it was well worth the 2 hour drive from home. Staff were as helpful & attentive as always & the days events were excellent.

My cousin and I took a trip down memory lane today by visiting Wrest Park. We used to be taken here as children 50 years ago! It is even more beautiful than it was all those years ago. Immaculate gardens, beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees. It is so peaceful and tranquil here. Toward the end of our visit we were... More

Such a beautiful and well kept place. A bit of a hidden gem in Bedfordshire in my opinion and well worth the time to go a visit. Suitable for family day out as well as a couple to wonder around the park.

We went as a family to the Stephen George's Day Pageant and what a lovely day it was. People were dressed up in costumes from all different ages from the Romans to the First World war and most things in between. Lots of shows in the main arena and lots of time realistic displays and crafts. A truly super day... More

We visited on an unexpectedly hot and sunny day. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the offer of suncream sachets for 10p was excellent (although we did have our own already - many people made use of the offer). The gardens are absolutely beautiful and we took the opportunity to have our picnic under the shade... More

We decided to pop into Wrest Park to try the cafe. The bread rolls were rather "doughy". The cucumber in my tuna and cucumber roll was not at its best and neither of our rolls looked very appealing - rather disappointing at £4.95 each. Our bill for two rolls, two bags of crisps & two soft drinks came to over... More

We only went to the gardens so cannot comment on the house. The gardens are large and impressive, having been modified by Capability Brown, with an orangery, canal and water pavilion to explore. It really helped that the sun was shining and that it was early summer so the Wisteria was in bloom and all of the trees were in... More

A great place to visit on a nice day. We were very lucky, blue sky all day and loads of families having fun and a picnic in the glorious grounds. If you have never visited make a date and go. The café gets very busy so pick your time for drinks, snacks etc. Plenty of outside tables . If you... More
