Free to get into and enough parking (also free). The actual towers are quite interesting but the lack of information on site let's the place down. One board is not enough to tell the site's story. Its not really a place to spend more than...More

We went jogging on a sunny cold morning. It just felt great ! There's nothing much to see apart from the ruins but the place is quiet and one can spend a good amount of time there on undisturbed deep thoughts

I found Donnington Castle fascinating that it is still standing and dates back to the 16th century I believe. A pleasant change to be able to visit free of charge.

We went some time ago. When we left Bramley the weather was Sunny. By the time we got to the Castle it was raining and windy. Not a lot to see, would be a nice walk on a better Day.

This is actually the remainder of a very old castle. You can't go in and it's not one of those giant European castles you expect in England. That said, it's lovely and, on a sunny day, it's a beautiful little walk and a nice place...More

On a sunny day this is a nice spot for a picnic. It’s a shame we couldn’t go in the tower as I bet the views would be lovely
