We have visited many times and love this little theatre. The staging and productions are innovative and creative. The acting and direction excellent. Beautiful setting and the onsite restaurant offers simple, hearty food for a pre theatre supper.

Magical play fantastic cast stunning surroundings. We loved our trip to this midsummer night dream of a theatre. The setting style and acting was incredible indeed uplifting.

I've been a frequent visitor to the Watermill for nearly 20 years and have to say the current production of Twelfth Night has to be one of the best plays I've experienced. Great adaptation and mesmerising from beginning to end - excellent

a chance find; and a gem! the theatre space has been lovingly created; the staff are friendly; the offerings are unexpectedly brilliant; and the programme is how a programme should be! a pity newbury folk don't flock there....

Small theatre which is cheap....except at weekends....can't be bothered to pay for a drinks licence so you have to use the Fullers vehicle attached to the side which is a kind of faux-olde worlde usual chain nonsense- the staff didn't even know how to open...More
