The rotunda building itself is fascinating and has been beautifully restored. The exhibitions are informative, visual and interactive.

My 8 year old son loved it lots of fossils on display, he enjoyed the dinosaur display. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Quite a small museum but lots to look at and some... More

this is such a small but interesting museum if you are interested in fossils etc. The exhibits were well shown and although we did not have a child with us I know my Granddaughter would have loved the dinosaur displays

Following reviews and images I expected something more. I found the exhibits on the top floor fairly random and uninteresting - not easy to see the upper cabinets either, even if you are tall. I expected more from the fossils gallery - maybe some fantastically artistic display because of the unusual building but in fact, it was not gripping at... More

After searching Trip Advisor and for things to do while in Scarborough, This is a great little museum and value for money! This is a great museum for adults and children alike- Especially before going to the beach to find your own fossils.
