Boarded the little train at the station (opposite Peasholm Park). Nice journey to the Sea Life centre. We then walked from there a short distance to Old Scalby Mills pub, where we got a lovely meal.

Our toddler loved this trip. It's great value too. We parked at the sealife center end, spent the day on the beach and then returned via the train. Well worth a visit with young children.

The ramp is steep but yes there is a car for the wheelchair to sit in although it is used for buggies a lot of the time so at peak times there might be a wait

There is not a bus service that runs from near the Grand Hotel. The best option would be to get a taxi and ask them to bring you up to the ticket office at Peasholm Station. A return ticket would be £3.90
