Museum is run by a group of volunteers, does tell something of the history of Sidmouth, but not much else.
Could be much better if it included a history of the events/attractions within the town. i.e. Donkey Sanctuary, Observatory etc.

We visited the museum today as they had a children's activity day. It was fabulous, lots for the children to make and take home with them.

For a historian this is a delightful local museum with well displayed information. Helpful, friendly staff who are rightfully proud of their museum. Currently there is an excellent display about the Suffrage movement and the local connections.
