For a historian this is a delightful local museum with well displayed information. Helpful, friendly staff who are rightfully proud of their museum. Currently there is an excellent display about the Suffrage movement and the local connections.

This building is packed full of fascinating information relevant to this town - photographs, tools, documents, prints and pictures. Of interest to children and adults with support from friendly staff. Good souvenir source and at the town's heart.
