Lovely property and garden to visit. Nice cafe unusually with seating in one of the rooms of the property. Rabbit warren of rooms. Pretty arts and crafts garden well maintained. No parking onsite but plenty at nearby Grange Barn which is also National Trust and only a short walk away. Well worth spending an afternoon visiting the two.

We visited with one of our group in a mobility scooter. While they could not access the upper floor with them, the staff were so friendly and bent over backwards to help us get in the house and one of the very knowledgeable volunteers stayed with them and gave them the full history of the house with pictures and diagrams.... Really friendly staff going the extra mile to make you very welcome. Lots of history to this property, quirky back stairs and labyrinth of rooms up stairs. Street parking, Tea shop could have offered more choice, but on the whole a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

Interesting to see this building which is not like the usual National Trust big houses. I have not seen anything like this (and the Barn which you can do in the same day) and the story is facinating and well worth taking the tine to visit and doing the tour.
