Great place to brows, have a snack, lunch or coffee. Lots of interesting items to look at and purchase over three floors and you are left on your own no pushy sales people.

Have not visited here for many years and very much enjoyed our afternoon. The tearoom is housed in a beautiful old barn and the cakes are delicious!e. TIP: Avoid the machine making the tasteless lattes etc.. and go for the filter coffee

A pleasant walk or leisurely stroll that takes about 1.5 hours (allow extra time if going into the cafe). Some interesting trees and specimens that are divided into particular areas (as detailed on the map provided). The walled garden is a treat and overlooks the stunning lake. The thing we really liked about this place was there were no signs... More

The walks are lovely at any time of year. The arboretum has an extensive range of unusual trees. The barn cafe is clean and reasonably priced.

What a marvellous day we had. An excellent welcome, first class lunch with all home cooked food and the friendly and helpful attention of the volunteer guides. The gardens are fantastic at present, although a bit early for too much autumn colour this year. The walled garden is a must and quite unique. The Woodland is full of autumn crocus.... More

This is a wonderful place to blown away the cobwebs! There are several walks you can take of various distances If you are looking for a lunch this is not the place ! The restaurant was very over priced for what you got ! The small shop however was great value for money !

A beautiful spot for a walk, the grounds are lovely and is very quite. There is a shop and catering, but we found it nice sitting out with a picnic. They do have craft and event days, we will try one of those next time. Enjoyable and relaxing

Great information person at ticket counter showed us some lovely walking paths and spent time explaining the gardens and areas. Found it very restful with lots of areas to explore and interesting sculptures too.
