I can't understand some of the reviews, it's good to walk around the reservoir either with dogs or without them. I don't really expect them to have a visitors centre or cafe with it being only a small place. There are cafes close by in...More

I visited Ulley Country Park earlier this week after reading their website. Although it says £1 to park it failed to point out that unless you have a mobile phone that you can download RingGo app and are willing to pay a £1 plus convenience...More

Usually a nice walk here round the reservoir but as others have said, parking is now by mobile so if you haven't got one you'll have to go somewhere else I suppose. Think the old machine was vandalised as it was taken away and they...More

A really lovely walk with good solid paths with a couple of gates, so not really suitable for wheelchair users. Friendly fellow visitors with lots to observe, but the main topic of conversation how to pay for parking! Its not that I won't pay but...More

Love the peace of this place. You can see nesting birds, feed the ducks (already overfed) fish, or sit on one of the numerous benches to admire the view over the reservoir lakes. Once a month they hold a cafe on a Sunday which is...More

Whose idea was it to make the car park payment mobile phone only? I would have thought a large proportion of your visitors particularly in the week are seniors who, (surprise surprise), do not live on their phones and are not always IT savvy, sometimes...More

Not easy for parking as need to be up on technology to pay for parking but you can park at the end of the lake in a small lay-by, if there is space. The walking is mainly flat so easy if you have someone in...More

Stopped off in passing to have a look at what is here. However, didn't bother as the car park charging is not very clear. Think it had something scribbled that said 80p but then also about phoning on your mobile and using a credit card....More

A huge tourist sign said ‘Ulley Country Park. The car park confusion immediately set off a bad mood. Memo to operator....get a new system. It’s awful. The park itself has no food or drink and is literally just a walk. No problem with that but...More
