I spent a very worthwhile few hours wandering around this fine museum with Andrew. Entrance is free and the many and varied exhibits extremely engaging. Rotherham has a long and interesting history well recorded in this museum and well worth the visit.

The museum was fabulous place to visit. Lots of things of interest and dressing up as soldiers that kept the kids happy. Also took me down memory lane of my childhood visits too

Open times for cafe and museum are silly, especially at the weekend. No cash machine, you can use card but there are ice cream stands etc that you might want cash for. Parking free on the side roads, no need to pay!
