Great town to just walk around and get some great food. I place where most digs are welcome even in most shops.

Spent a morning wondering around the Lanes & Passageways, seeking out small shops. Some lovely shops and cafe's for a warming coffee. There are several streets in the town centre that have free parking, (time limited) and keen parking attendant's so don't push your luck,

Was disappointed there were shops shut down. Lots of coffee shops, nothing special. Visited a couple of years ago, was certainly not the same.

Hi John, there is no early closing day in Stamford. Some shops choose to close if not busy as you would find in many other small towns.
