Lovely well kept park, does get really busy on a weekend,..some nice pubs in the area, but avoind the Dam Inn if your eating, oh and parking isn't free

We love walking here on a weekday, or on an evening. We avoid Newmillerdam on a weekend though as parking is impossible, and it can get extremely busy.

Lovely walk in newmillerdam if your fit it's a great walk round the lake even if your not fit....you can achieve getting round the lake as there are loads of benches to sit and relax before going on.

Good for walking, scenic views, and wildlife also being with nature. Many wildlife on view including Swans, Geese, Coot, Ducks and Mallard, also the occasional kingfisher.

The trawl around the lake is fine if you like that sort of thing but it’s a bit ‘Midnight Express’ (all moving one way with no thought or ‘spark’). Get off the beaten track and explore the myriad of paths in the woods. Or even...More

Love the place lots of walking in any directions paths everywhere fab for kids pets to explore picnic or just walk around the dam and have an icecream

yes there is a cafe in the old boat house. there's also a pub across the road.

Yes large carpark, pay & display, so depends on how long you want to stay for.
