Really disappointed that charge to visit this park. Should be free to everyone.. No wonder families don't go outdoors if charged for parking! No encouragement to be active. Drove in and straight out.

Always loved walking when we had a dog and now without one too. Great place for long or short walking, lovely views and lakeside seats. You see the castle too from all angles. Parking is fine during the week but events do cause some problems,...More

We come to Pugneys pretty often or rather when we get a spot to park. On the nice day, weekend or bank holiday it’s rammed. Which is a good sign as it’s a popular place for the families. Cafe serves food and drinks and is...More

It is a nice walk around the lake, if your dog gets muddy there is a washing station with warm water where you can swill it down at a cost of 50p, you will need to take your own towel to dry the dog. Don't...More

Apologies, a month too late. I would say that it is wheelchair friendly if you have a helper. If it’s a motorised chair, I would suggest you have someone with you.
