I took my daughter to see Peppa Pig surprise here today and we had a great time. Although we were in restricted view seats we were able to see the whole performance. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. Only problem with a children's performance was accessing the toilets. They were quite a distance away from our seats and it... More

We have visited many Theatres including this one on a few occasions, we were disappointed not only to be told off for trying to take a photograph of the comedian Rich Hall but also to be stared at most of the night by the female usher/attendant, made us very uncomfortable and spoiled our night. We take pictures as reminders of... More

A really lovely little theatre. A good variety of different entertainment. The festival week is always a highlight for me.

A great play in a great environment. It's a traditional theatre and ideal for watching an Agnatha Christie play. Would go more often but not everything they put on is my cup of tea. Staff are brilliant

Went to see Tony Christie. My first visit for a couple of years. Was told it hold 499. First visited in the 70's when it was a Lucky 7 Bingo Hall. Thank goodness it's been restored along with its great History. The venue was lovely and intimate being on the small side which means you can actually see the artiste... More

Went to see mousetrap. It really is a lovely theatre and even though it is small you don't feel crammed in. My only criticism is having to wade through the sea of dog ends and the smokers outside the main entrance.

Another John Godber play - this might hurt - totally amazing, his usual comedy along with a very true message, had me laughing and crying! Staff at the theater were polite and courteous, didn't go anywhere to rate it - we had seats that we could see from very well...

I have attended this theatre dozens of time and what a thrill no matter what you are going to see. It is intimate and friendly with a coffee bar and also a licensed bar upstairs. One tip if you want a drink in the interval pre order as the bar is small and gets crowded with only 1/2bartenders

Last nights show was fantastic!!! To say that it's done by the Youth Group is amazing. They are so talented, their voices, the dancing - the stage presence!!
