What a lovely park. I've visited twice recently for special outdoor wildlife family events. Always lots to do, or great just for a walk. Within walking distance of The Ipswich Waterfront and University. Well worth a visit. Has an active Friends group.

So close to the town centre but a real wildlife oasis. A good play area for youngsters of all ages. The Stables Cafe offers a wide range of food and drinks. The conservatory has been wonderfully restored to its origin glory.
The park itself is worth visiting for a walk around - it's a lovely park and well landscaped with lovely trees and water. My two younger ones were able to take their scooters as there are quite a few paths they can scoot on here....More
