A brilliant film in a brilliant cinema. Choose to try out one of the impact screen showings. Was brilliant on the bigger better screen. Sofas were super comfy, shame there is no where to store coats, bags etc. Otherwise loved the film and will definitely...More

Only went here because Cineworld had no heating but will be back. Very comfy sofa seats, screen rooms are small and quite intimate, overall a great experience. Will be back.

I'd messed up to online booking and arrived for a 7.30pm start only to find the tickets I'd printed and presented to the doorman were for the 5.30 showing! He called his senior who promptly replaced the 2 tickets with the 7.30 showing. He was...More

My wife and I love going to the Empire at least once a week. Always very clean and tidy and the staff are all outstanding. If you like going to the cinema, Empire is the one.

Empire cinemas Ipswich has the potential to wipe cineworld off the map. +’ves are fair with quality seating options, big high quality screens and a good choice of movie snacks! However the negatives crawl in, the layout is not the simplest and staff can be...More

The cinema is spotless, it's bright, efficient, comfortable, clean. I love it, the seats you just sink into. I don't like your website, it's not easy to use or understand. Try booking tickets from a mobile phone it's almost impossible to do.

Visit here often with friends and family. Very reasonably priced tickets, helpful staff and clean surroundings. If you park at the buttermarket car park after 4pm they’ll clear your chip so you don’t pay for parking!

You can buy them there also but just bare in mind that if it is a new/popular film there might not be many seats left.

Hello, sorry for the late response. Empire has a coffee shop in the foyer where you could have a coffee and cake before or after the film if you don't fancy popcorn. :)
