Decided on a whim to walk up the Great Orme from "Happy Valley". The initially hard slog was rewarded by a fantastic view of the Prom and far off hills. Half way up, the going was easier, and the views more expansive, by which time the trams and cable cars were operating. At the top - the views were unbelievable... More

Been here several times and I still love it. You can use the tram, the cable car, drive up, or if you feel energetic you can enjoy the walk. There is a cafe, toilets and visitor centre at the top and the copper mine and museum are on the way up and also worth a visit.

Apart from the obligatory visitor centre, this is a largely unspoiled area with stunning views of the North Wales coastline. Easily accessible by car, tram or cable car.

Fabulous views! You can drive up to the top, walk, take the tram or cable car. Whatever you do make the effort because it's beautiful. Cafe and toilets at the top as well as other attractions such as the Bronze age caves.

Visited the Great Orme by using the tramway. Spent a couple of hours on the top just walking around and exploring the area.

Took a tram up the Great Orme. Fabulous views from the tram, very good service running every 20 mins. You change trams near the summit so you could the rest of the way. There is a museum and a copper mi e museum that you can visit before you take the tram for the rest of the journey. Had a... More
