MOSTYN is a friendly place to discover inspiring art, enjoy our shop and cafe, and learn or do something new.

Bringing an impressive selection of international contemporary art to Llandudno, we have a varied programme of exhibitions and events, in fantastic spaces that merge the old and the new.

We offer a wide range of activities, and families are particularly welcome. With activity sheets, talks, tours, workshops and drop-in sessions, there's something for everyone.

In our stunning shop you'll find the best in contemporary craft from Wales and beyond. We stock jewellery, ceramics, textiles and glassware alongside books and gifts for all ages.

Come along to our fully accessible and spacious cafe which offers delicious freshly cooked food with an international flavour. It's the ideal place to call in for brunch, lunch or afternoon tea, with lovely views to the sea and the work of local artists on the walls.

Knowledgeable gallery staff are always happy to talk to you about the exhibitions. If you have any questions, or would like an informal tour, just ask.

Off the beaten track nowadays but worth a look in. Super stock in gift shop, something different, and the gallery free and certainly worth a look. Did not stop at cafe but everything bright and clear and looked tempting for another time. Near to the large Heart Foundation shop on the corner heading to and from the station. Glad we... More

always try and call in for a coffee and cake at Oriel Mostyn, and enjoy the installations. sadly spoiled by a very surly and brusque young waitress. real shame as its a fab location, the gallery has interesting displays, and there's lovely food. :(

MOSTYN is Wales' top place to see contemporary art and buy beautiful, unique pieces by the best makers in the UK. Not your average art gallery but an amazing place that fuses modern architecture with a traditional facade. There's a really nice cafe upstairs. And just a short walk from the beach.

Drawn in by Louise Gardner embroidery in window - great shop inside & fantastic exhibition about art & music. Loved the architecture. So glad we had time to look around before catching train, though pity could not stay longer to check out the cafe upstairs.

Stopped in for a cuppa at the cafe. We really enjoyed looking round the gallery too. Great pictures and a great shop.

I went here with my Hubby on a Wednesday afternoon. We have been here before but unfortunately on this occasion the Gallery Hall was closed because they were busy assembling a new exhibition which was due to open on Friday. However, we were able to browse around the ground floor gift shop which was displaying a range of bespoke craft-works,... More

Lovely modern gallery showcasing a range of styles and work. The building is stunning and surprisingly modern inside. It's also completely free but there are donation boxes within. The cafe is really nice, good simple food, quite surprising for a gallery cafe as I'm used to just tea and cake but here you can even get a steak sandwich! I'll... More

I'm not a great fan of Contemporary Art, but this gallery does an important job of showcasing this modern work. Gallery space is excellent. Rather nice restaurant on the top floor with great views of Llandudno. The Shop on the ground floor is terrific. Huge selection of work. Wonderful silver jewellery and many other really individual items. Books and cards... More

I've noticed for at least the four months I've been visiting that a tap is broken and flows non stop in the ladies toilet. Someone needs to pull their finger out and fix it, it's a disgraceful waste! Great use of charity money- paying the water bill.

Hi, Thank you for visiting MOSTYN and for your comment/review. Also thank you for alerting us to a potential problem. We've had the tap checked recently and found that it is not broken, the tap is designed to turn itself off after a specified time and it does in fact work as intended. Unfortunately its not possible to alter the... More
