Overview
More
An ancient church on the Great Orme, overlooking the sea and surrounded by a historic churchyard. The church is sometimes confused with the 20th chapel in the adjoining Great Orme Cemetery. The church is open every day from 1 April to 31 October and weekends, Wednesdays and bank holidays the rest of the year, weather permitting. Open air services are held on Sundays at 11.00 am from the end of May till the end of September (in the church in bad weather) and monthly services are held in the church over winter. Information leaflets and booklets are available in the church.

We were probably expecting too much from this little church because we thought that it would be a lovely, unrestored, historic building. Unfortunately, we were disappointed because the Victorians got their hands on it and ruined it. It is still in a lovely setting, on...More

A delightful old church in a beautiful setting and if you are fit enough a good walk. If not the tramway is a lovely experience.

St Trudno is the oldest and original church of Llandudno and though the current small church is 'only' 800 years old, the location has been a place of worship for 1400 years. The building is simple and unremarkable and it is surrounded by a big...More

Lovely views and a huge churchyard to explore. Lovely to learn a little of the history of the place and to be able to gain access to explore inside.

Well worth visiting this simple ancient church. Also interesting gravestones in surrounding graveyard.

Just off the main promenade between Rhos on Sea and the little Orme hidden down a bank is this beautiful, working small church. Just big enough for about 4-6 people. Services are still held there. It was the home and shrine of St Trillo an...More

For me, the best thing here is the graveyard. Oh, and the views! In the church itself there is a leaflet for a self guided tour of the interesting gravestones. Absolutely worth doing if you are passing on the way to the summit of the...More

I had previously only seen this church from the top of the Orme, and had always assumed it was 100 or so years old. Not so! It is many hundreds of years old, and the history is explained in the excellent guide leaflet available inside....More
