Big expanse of sea to watch and a few birds around. Te beach varies from stony and cobbled to more or less sandy. Don't venture out too far as sandy can be tricky.

A great beach to walk on especially during winter when the sun isn't so high in the sky. The other shore loses the sunlight very quickly. On the West Shore Beach you are in the sun for the whole day. It was lovely to wander along the beach to Deganwy with the Welsh mountains, including Snowden, across the river.

Views across the river mouth, with Snowdonia to the south. The café at the far end is a special treat, with delicious meals and cakes.

I love sitting in my car watching the moving clouds.I was lucky with the weather. A restful place. There are toilets near the boating pool.

North shore and the pier is for the tourists and visitors but West Shore is where the natives go. It has a wonderful beach when the tide is out. We walk from the golf course round to Deganwy to visit a cafe, refresh ourselves and amble back. It is worth discovering and enjoying and only 1 mile from the more... More

Walked along the beach and promenade at West Shore. Stopped for a refreshment at the recently refurbished café. Good selection of snacks, cake and drinks. Quite a few people excercising their dogs on this fresh morning. Reasonably easy walking on this flat beach.

Visited the West Shore to see the White Rabbit of Alice fame. What a lovely statue, and in such good condition. Walked along the promenade for a short while as it was quite cold and I am not very fast on my feet. Surprised to see such a great park for the children and a 'fitness park' for adults to... More
