Yes one of the Alice in Wonderland sculptures, the Cheshire Cat, is positioned just across the road from the boating lake. A must-see! This is the quieter side of Llandudno, only a level 15 minute walk from the main beach and pier.

First visit there and its as nice as the promenade. unfortunately the tide was in so could not see much of the beach but the walk was nice. There is a cafe which is well worth a visit and you can eat inside or outside.

West Shore Beach is much more quiet than North Shore Beach, there are less tourists and it's perfect to sit down, relax and enjoy the stunning views. There's a playground for children and benches to sit down.
