The beach at Llandudno is wide and stretches between the Great Orme and the Little Orme. It’s a pebble beach close to the promenade and sandy further out.

Had a great walk along North Shore, one part is sandy and the rest of the beach is pebbles/stones. The beach is kept spotless and teh bins are emptied regularly.

Our hotel was on the promenade it was lovely the sea didnt go out very far. So it was always there. The walkway on the front was really big clean and tidy. The access was very good for disabled people. Really nice place

Not as I remember it when I was young. Lots of pebbles and not a lot of sand for children to build 'castles' . It was still very popular with adults and children alike paddelling in the sea.

Struck lucky by visiting here on a glorious sunny weekend. Baking hot and the best way to experience the beach and seaside. Lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves too.

Although the bay and its backdrop, the Promenade, are beautiful, and offer many delights, from Punch and Judy to the new lifeboat house, rib and other boat rides, the decision of the Council to remove the wooden groynes led to the disappearance of the sand...More

We were visiting Llandudno with the Grandchildren and, f course, we need to visit the beach! It's a bit rocky and so digging was a problem, even so it's a place you need to visit when you go to the seaside.

You have two choice. You can either swim around the Orme which will take about 5 hours or you can walk up Gloddaeth Avenue which will take about 15 minutes. Either route is very nice!
